Dental Emergencies deserve prompt attention!  We do our best to see emergencies as soon as possible.  The definition of a true dental emergency involves either a traumatic injury, bleeding, and/or severe toothache.  If you are asked to come in right away, and you decline the opportunity because of any of a whole list of reasons, then we have to assume it is not a TRUE emergency.  Your cooperation in coming at the time you are given by our scheduler is most appreciated!

Here's what to expect:

1. You will be asked to fill out the necessary patient registration materials including the medical dental history.  You can download those here on our website to save some time if you wish.
2. We will take radiographs (x-rays) of the area in question so the doctor can diagnose the severity of your problem and help you find a solution.
3. In some cases, depending on time constraints or the presence of infection, the doctor will do something temporary to get you out of pain until you can get it completely taken care of, or go ahead and take care of things immediately.
4. There may some waiting involved since in many cases we're squeezing you into our schedule.
5. Be sure to read and understand our insurance policies before coming.  In some cases, due to the need for prompt attention, we cannot get insurance benefits confirmed and verified.  In these cases the patient is asked to pay for their visit in full and be reimbursed by their insurance.
