It is our firm belief that all people who entrust their oral health
to us want and deserve the finest dental care that we are capable of
providing. After 25 years in private practice, I know
misunderstandings can occur when money is involved. We feel that
dental care should only be provided when there is a clear
understanding regarding fees and payment. Therefore our purpose in
providing you this financial information is to acquaint you with our
policy for our mutual benefit. After all, the best surprise, is NO
surprise! We will give you an estimate of costs required in advance
of treatment so that you can come prepared for each visit. Once
again, the best surprise is no surprise!
We are pleased to have an opportunity to provide the highest quality
dentistry possible in an open and honest environment based on truth
and trust. We will do everything we can to live up to the standards
you expect and deserve from us as professionals.
We have set up our accounting to accept the payment options listed
below:
You have Insurance? Great! We’ll do our best to help you
maximize your benefit
As long as you have
real insurance, we are happy to accept
assignment of your benefits by filing a claim on your behalf. All
that is required is that you pay any deductible that is due as well
as the amount we estimate will be uncovered by your insurance at
time of service. We estimate your portion as closely as possible,
but no one really knows "for sure" how much your insurance will
pay. If they pay less than we expected, you will be responsible for
the balance that they leave on your account. Dental insurance pays
for
only a portion of your treatment, and we urge you to be fully aware
of the provisions of your dental co-payment policy because
ultimately you are financially responsible for all treatment
provided in our office. All charges for claims filed on your
behalf will be payable
by you if your insurance company has failed to make their payment
within 60 days of being properly billed. 30 - 90 day accounts can
also be set up with prior approved credit
for an in-office payment plan of your estimated uncovered portion.

Bookkeeping discounts for those with dental insurance:
10%
discount
when you pay for your whole treatment plan in advance and
agree to be reimbursed by your insurance company. Payment
must be made by cash, check, regular credit cards & regular
CareCredit within two business days of your treatment plan being
presented to you.
5%
You can still receive 5% off your visit if you pay for your
treatment in full one visit at a time and agree to be
reimbursed by your insurance company. Payment must
be made in advance as you're checking out from the previous
appointment.

Another way to save 5% would be to allow us to place any unpaid
balance leftover after insurance pays their part on the credit card
of your choice. You’d have to leave your credit card information on
file with us and sign an authorization allowing us to place the
charge on your card. It is understood that your credit card
information would be kept in strictest confidence and stored in a
password protected area in our computer. If your insurance leaves an unpaid balance for you to pay,
you’d be getting a bill for it anyway. The only difference here is
the bill would be coming from your credit card instead of us.
No Insurance? No
problem…
We accept cash, check, and most major credit cards in full at time of service. For
treatments requiring more than one visit you may pay for half at the
beginning and the balance at the completion of the treatment. 30 - 90 day accounts can
also be set up with prior approved credit
for an in-office payment plan.
Bookkeeping discounts for Self-Pay accounts (w/o insurance or
DentRite):
10%
discount when you pay for your whole treatment plan in
advance. Payment must be
made by
cash, check, regular credit cards & regular CareCredit within
two business days of your treatment plan being presented to you. If you need to use one of the no-interest CareCredit payment
plans to pay for your whole treatment plan in advance, we can still
give you a 5% bookkeeping discount.
The
minimum amount that can be placed on a no interest payment plan
with CareCredit
is
$1,000.00.

You can still receive 5% off for pre-payment of one visit
at a time by cash, check, regular credit cards & regular
CareCredit. Payment must be made in advance as you're checking
out from the previous appointment.

Third party financing
— Payment plans
Many of these payment plans offer no interest payment plans for up
to twelve months! You must have approval prior to
scheduling treatment. We use Care Credit, and Chase HealthAdvance.
Our financial secretary can handle your application before you
leave, or you can click on either the CareCredit or the Chase
HealthAdvance icon below to apply online. When you're done with
your application at their website, just click on the "Back" button
on your browser to return here.
