                             Short-Term Orthodontics

At Sweetwater Smiles you can have it YOUR way.  We offer the two best systems available today for short-term orthodontics.  If you're an adult who wore braces as a kid, but neglected to wear your retainers afterwards and now your smile has relapsed.....RELAX!  You don't have to go through comprehensive orthodontics again for 2-3 years (unless you just want to!).  Most adults don't do anything at all because they don't realize that they can get a beautiful smile again in about six months.  Others seek other means to improve their smiles such as Smile Makeovers, in which many front teeth are either crowned, or prepared for porcelain veneers.  In many cases, getting the teeth aligned into proper position either eliminates or minimizes the necessity to cut away healthy enamel.  Many patients are very pleased with just short-term ortho combined with whitening their teeth....but even if this isn't possible and we really need to place crowns or porcelain veneers, it's nice to preserve as much healthy tooth structure as possible when doing Smile Makeovers.

Most esthetic?	Clear aligners are definitely less noticeable than clear braces.	Clear braces are BARELY noticeable.
Fastest treatment time?	Average time to receive the aligners and get started is 4 weeks.  Average treatment time is 9 months.	Average time to receive your case so we can begin is 2 weeks.  Average treatment time is 6 months.
Cost factors	About $2,000 less than comprehensive orthodontics	About $1,000 less than Invisalign
Easiest to brush/floss with	Since they're removable,  Invisalign is easier	Brush & floss just like regular braces
